Unlocking the Potential of Mangystau
Hyrasia One is setting new standards for the renewable energy sector. Hyrasia One is one of the ten largest green hydrogen projects currently planned in the world. To ensure the future performance and effectiveness of Hyrasia One, German engineers and experts around the world are pioneering the technical processes, planning the necessary infrastructure, and thinking through the complex interconnections of individual project components.
From Mangystau for Mangystau
The construction of Hyrasia One will bring significant benefits to the society and economy of the Mangystau region. With thousands of jobs created and a focus on local employment, the project brings economic and social benefits. Education and training initiatives ensure a skilled workforce, while a dedicated social fund supports regional projects. Hyrasia one has the potential for major infrastructure development and the emergence of a green industrial cluster that is needed for Kazakhstan’s sustainable development.
Environment & Society
The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) is an important tool to assess the potential impacts of Hyrasia One on the natural resources, the biodiversity, the human health and the socio-economic conditions. The ESIA helps us to minimize the risks, mitigate the impacts, and maximize the benefits of Hyrasia One. The ESIA process is being carried out adhering to national and international standards by the leading, independent German company FICHTNER.
